Ribs are on sale at Piggly Wiggly and Outpost, so it’s the perfect time to fire up your Weber and grill up the tastiest ribs you’ve ever had. This recipe is based off of the Allrecipes version, with my own edits added in for perfect ribs every time.
Prep: 30 minutes
Cook: 1 hour 5 minutes
Ingredients
2 teaspoons cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon paprika (sweet if you have it)
Salt and pepper
3 pounds baby back pork ribs
¾ cup barbeque sauce (homemade is best)
Directions
1. Preheat your gas grill to about 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Oil the cooking grates.
2. Combine the dry spices. Trim off any unwanted fat or membrane. Rub spices on the ribs.
3. Lay ribs on the cooking grates to one side. Reduce heat to low, or turn off the burners directly under ribs. You want indirect heat here! Close the lid of your grill, and leave the ribs to cook for an hour. Keep an eye on your temperature gauge to make sure the grill stays around 225.
4. Brush ribs with half of barbeque sauce, flip, and brush the other side with remaining sauce. Grill for an additional five minutes. Serve with potato salad and cole slaw for the perfect summertime meal.
Bon appetit!
